Who Can Be An Egg Donor?

Women wishing to become egg donors must be between the ages of 18 and 30. Interested woman must:

  • Be physically and emotionally healthy.
  • Have no history of infertility or endometriosis.
  • Have both ovaries.
  • Be drug free and a non-smoker.
  • Be single or in a stable relationship.
  • Living in the state of California.
  • Able and willing to meet with CEO in person.
  • Have reliable transportation to all appointments.

In addition to the above requirements, eligible donors must complete our application, providing personal information on her health history, education and personality, as well as information regarding her family. We also request that each donor bring 10-20 color photographs of herself to help in the selection by our egg recipients. No identifying information is ever released and remains strictly confidential.

A representative of CEO will meet with the potential donor to review her application and further explain the donor process. Once a donor is matched with a recipient, meetings will be arranged with the psychologist and genetic counselor. After these meetings, the medical process begins. Although we are not a medical facility, we will assist donors in working with the recipient's doctor.
